It was so much harder to do my job (especially for reason #3) when I was fully remote. Now, hybrid work works pretty well for me, especially because the office environment isn’t always conducive to deep thought and focus required for certain communications work. But all of these challenges continue to be true, and it’s important to remember the challenges that come with hybrid or fully remote staff while also understanding the employee benefit of some flexibility and time working from home. Thank you for lifting up something many of us have been experiencing for nearly three years now. It can be hard for employers, leaders, and colleagues to understand all of this.
